At SIGGRAPH 2018, Disney will debut its first VR short film, “Cycles.”
A one-of-a-kind reveal for both Disney and director Jeff Gipson, “Cycles” uses virtual reality to show the life of a house over several decades, or generations. (“Generations” just happens to be the theme of this year’s SIGGRAPH show.)
The story follows the ebbs and flows of growing, changing family, and the interpersonal challenges that accompany them.
“Cycles” will be shown daily in the Immersive Pavilion. Also, hear from the creators in an exclusive Talk on Tuesday, August 14.
