BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The deadline for entries for the 2019 Entertainment Technology Lumiere Awards has been extended. Entries can now be submitted before 5pm PT on August 29th.
The Lumiere Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the creation of immersive storytelling using advanced visual technologies like High Dynamic Range, 360 Video, High Frame Rate, Artificial Intelligence, Real-Time Rendering, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Stereo 3D. The Society honors content and experiences produced for film, television, advertising, gaming, mobile, online and more. Winners from past Tech Awards include Microsoft, Dolby, Fraunhofer, Technicolor, Barco, Nokia, AMD, Sony, Panasonic, Disney, Adobe, RealD, Samsung, Youtube, LG and GoPro.
Award winners will be recognized at the 10th Annual Lumiere Awards celebration on October 28th, 2019 at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Technology teams are invited to submit their work. The event’s goal is to recognize the year's best new technologies for advancing the art of storytelling in entertainment, marketing and education. The competition is open to any team around the world.
