inMotion Launches Content Review iPhone App

Research Triangle Park, NC – inMotion, a leading provider of B2B approval management solutions for maximizing workflow efficiency, today launched the industry’s first iPhone application. inMotion’s app provides an easy way for decision-makers to review and approve content and creative proofs from their smartphones, keeping projects on schedule even as creative professionals spend fewer hours tied to their desks.

According to MIT’s Sloan School of Management, senior managers spend nearly 23 hours per week in meetings. A recent travel study by Barclay Commercial Business Travel reports that managers spend 8.2 days a month travelling for business. With the inMotion app for iPhone, these managers – whether they’re a creative director in all-day meetings, a brand manager away at a conference, or a product manager on the road meeting with buyers – can quickly and easily review and approve a range of content types at their own convenience.

“With senior management spending less time at their desk and more time on their smartphones, it’s critical in order to meet project deadlines to deliver content to them where they are,” says Rob Munz, CEO of inMotion. “With inMotion review technology now available on the iPhone, we are continuing to anticipate and adapt to changes in our customers’ needs and streamline the creative review process. The rewards are a faster time to market for content and campaigns, and a more productive work environment.”

Available free to inMotion users, the iPhone app includes all the feedback functionality of inMotion’s full cloud-based review and approval solution. The app supports a wide range of content types, including video, web pages, graphics, and print documents. An alert displays when content is posted for signoff, at which point the user can mark it up, add comments, and approve it as-is or request revisions. Using familiar native iPhone behaviors, the app is keeping with inMotion’s commitment to a zero learning curve.

inMotion’s iPhone app can be found in Apple’s iTunes App Store, by searching for “inMotion review.” The company is currently developing similar solutions for other mobile devices.
