Sunha Yoon is a character animator at California Institute of the Arts. Her interest in art and science began at home. Sunha used to draw and paint with her mom and discuss science projects with her dad. She went to school for further study in biology in Korea, and two years ago, she decided to study animation at CalArts. She finally got into film, which is new for her and she’s been exploring an interest in animation, motion graphics, and visual development.

In the Animation category, Adobe Design Achievement Awards winner Keng-Ming Liu, from the School of Visual Arts, was in excellent company -- such as that of finalists Sunha Yoon of the California Institute of the Arts and Stephen Neary of New York University.
